A great lesson to introduce students to a range of contemporary artists’ self-portraits. Includes works by Gavin Turk, Sarah Lucas, Andy Goldsworthy and Sam Taylor-Johnson.
An accompanying printable sheet is provided that can be folded into a mini booklet in which students record their own short self-portrait tasks alongside the images. This video shows you the booklet and how to fold it from a flat A4 or A3 sheet.
It is a fun lesson that provokes valuable discussion and gets ideas flowing.
