Warhol Bauble Christmas Art lesson
This two-page handout gives information on the Pop Artist Andy Warhol and his background as a commercial artist. Students take inspiration from his drawings to create their own Christmas baubles from paper.
No specialist materials are required other than; glue, tape, scissors, thread, and colored pens or pencils.
You can adapt the lesson to reuse paper (old newspapers or magazines) for the baubles if you want to focus more on a sustainable approach to Christmas. Or you could add glitter or painted elements to the baubles to extend the activity. To reinforce maths skills, students could draw out their own bauble circles using a compass.
A fun lesson for the holiday season!
